THE SEQUENCING METHOD.
You know what you need to do. So what’s stopping you from doing it?
You know you need to.
Raise the price. Have the conversation. Stop working with the client who drains you. Talk about your work. Make the decision. Trust what you already know.
And yet, when the moment comes, you do something else.
That is the moment The Sequencing Method™ is interested in.
Because knowing what to do and being able to do it are not the same thing.
You can understand your Human Design. You can know your Type, Strategy, Authority and Profile. You can recognise your conditioning.
And still override yourself when it matters.
That’s where the work begins.
The Sequencing Method™ is about understanding what happens between knowing what you need to do and actually doing it.
Not six hours later when you're journaling about why you said yes again.
Not after another launch where you barely talked about what you were selling.
Not when you're lying awake wondering why you agreed to something you never wanted to do.
In the moment itself.
The moment you know it's a no and say yes.
The moment you know you need to speak yet stay quiet.
The moment you know what you want to charge and lower the price.
The moment you know the decision and ask five other people what they think.
The moment you know you need to be visible and find something else to do instead.
That gap is where your conditioning, your nervous system and the parts of you that learned to protect you can take over.
The Sequencing Method™ helps us understand what is actually happening there so you can respond differently.
Human Design is part of the answer. Not the whole answer.
Your Human Design gives us a map of how you are naturally designed to make decisions, use your energy and move through the world.
But a map doesn't automatically change behaviour.
You have lived a lifetime of learning what gets you approval, what keeps you safe, what makes you acceptable, what gets rewarded and what doesn't.
So we don't just ask:
Th“What does your chart say?”
We ask:
“What happens when you try to live it?”
Where do you override yourself?
What happens in your body?
What are you protecting yourself from?
What do you do instead?
And what would it take to make a different choice?
That is sequencing.
It is learning to recognise the pattern as it happens, understand what is driving it, and interrupt the sequence before you automatically do what you've always done.
Because that is how something you know starts becoming something you actually live.
The five places we look
You may recognise this pattern in lots of areas of your life and business.
But usually there is somewhere it has become particularly costly.
DECISION
You know the answer. Then you override it.
You decide from pressure. You ask everyone else. You talk yourself out of what you knew. You say yes too quickly or stay stuck trying to think your way to certainty.
Then you find yourself in commitments you never really wanted.
CONNECTION
You know the boundary. Then you don't hold it.
You keep people close when you want distance.
You make yourself available when you don't want to be.
You say yes because saying no feels harder.
You know what the relationship needs — but something keeps stopping you from acting on it.
ENERGY
You know something isn't sustainable. Then you keep doing it anyway.
You work to somebody else's rhythm.
You push when your body is telling you to stop.
You build schedules that look perfectly reasonable on paper and leave you exhausted in practice.
From the outside, you're productive.
On the inside, you're depleted.
VISIBILITY
You know you need to be seen. Then you disappear.
You know you need to talk about your work, make the offer, publish the post, send the email, launch the thing.
But somehow something else always becomes more urgent.
You tweak.
Prepare.
Learn.
Wait.
And the work you know is good remains far less visible than it should be.
VALUE
You know what your work is worth. Then you change the number.
You lower the price.
Add more.
Slip in the discount.
Let the scope creep.
Give away the thing you intended to charge for.
You know what you wanted to ask for — until another human being is standing in front of you.
You may recognise yourself in all five.
But there is usually one where you think:
Oh. THAT one.
That's where we start.
Not by trying harder.
Not by giving you another strategy to follow.
And not by telling you that you simply need more confidence.
We look at what happens in the sequence between knowing and doing.
We use Human Design to understand your natural way of operating and where you override it.
We use nervous system intelligence to understand what happens when doing the thing doesn't feel safe.
And we use parts work to understand what the resistance may be trying to protect you from.
Then we work with what is actually there.
So the next time you reach that familiar moment, you can recognise it.
And make a different choice.
Because you don't need more information.
You need to be able to do the thing you already know you need to do.
That's The Sequencing Method™.
And in business?
You see, it was never your business.
Before working with Sheena, I was full of self-doubt, people-pleasing, saying yes when I meant no, and self-editing.
Now I feel abundant, I trust myself, and I have a calm, surety and clarity in my decisions.
Taking the time to practice in The Sequencing Room has made such a difference.
